Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, phone number, email address, treatment interest, requested appointment date and time, newsletter email, concierge messages, and photos submitted to the smile scan.
We may also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, requested pages, and error or security logs.
How we use information
- Respond to appointment requests and questions.
- Provide requested website tools, including concierge responses and illustrative smile previews.
- Send newsletter messages when you subscribe and honor unsubscribe requests.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect patients, visitors, the practice, and others.
Forms and sensitive information
General website forms, the concierge, and ordinary email are not intended for medical histories, diagnoses, treatment records, insurance identification numbers, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, or urgent health concerns. Please submit only the information requested.
After an appointment is confirmed, our team can explain how to provide detailed clinical or insurance information through an appropriate channel. Information that becomes part of your dental record is handled according to our Notice of Privacy Practices.
AI tools and photo processing
Concierge messages and smile-scan photos are sent to service providers that process the information to generate a response or illustrative preview. The tools are informational and do not provide a diagnosis or treatment plan. Beacon Dental does not add smile-scan photos to a patient profile through this website. Avoid uploading images containing documents, identifiers, or other sensitive information.
Service providers and third parties
We may use service providers for website hosting, form storage, email delivery, security, error monitoring, and AI processing. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their applicable terms. The site also links to services such as Google Maps and loads web fonts; those services may receive technical information when used.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
The website uses essential browser storage needed for site functions and security. A first-party cookie remembers your cookie choice for six months. You can revisit your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Browser settings can also delete or block cookies, though some functions may not work as expected.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The banner offers an optional-cookie preference, but choosing “Allow optional cookies” does not activate any tracking today. If additional cookie-based tools are introduced, we will update this policy and ask for a fresh choice before using them.
Retention and security
We retain website information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal requirements, dispute resolution, and security. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit website forms, unsubscribe from newsletter emails, or contact us to ask about website information associated with you. Certain information may be retained where required by law or needed for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.
Children and policy updates
This website is directed to a general audience and is not intended for children to submit personal information without a parent or guardian. We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
